When asked by the media about his views on playing the last round with Tiger, Stuart wryly quipped “he won’t even know I’m there” to the amusement of the onlookers.

As it turned out, neither Stuart nor Tiger were able to capitilize on their front running positions leaving Zach Johnson to forge his way into the lead and earn a first, well deserved Major.

According to Stuart’s coach, Steve Bann, “Stuart now has the belief that I think he needs to win majors, so I am sure one or more will be coming his way in the near future. He won’t spend too much time dwelling on what could have been? He will analyze what was good and what mistakes he made, and work out a strategy to minimise those big numbers in the future”
