2003 U.S. Amateur Champ Nick Flanagan claimed his third Nationwide Tour Victory this year-with a seven shot, come-from-behind win at the Xerox Classic in Rochester, NY. With the win, Flanagan, who carded a final round 63 at Irondequoit Country Club, earns a battlefield promotion to the PGA TOUR, the first such promotion since Jason Gore accomplished the feat in 2005. Flanagan is among the growing list of Tour players that rely on the LeaderBoard.
The LeaderBoard training and fitness device is used by over 50 elite golf professionals including Flanagan, Stuart Appleby, Adam Scott and K.J. Choi and develops both muscle function and motor skill (movement patterns) and physically prepares golfers with incredible precision and efficiency. By using the LeaderBoard, a golfer develops the legs and the muscles of the midsection needed to create a solid base of support while ingraining the correct movement patterns that generate powerful and accurate golf shots.
Along with the likes of Stuart Appleby and K.J. Choi, Flanagan is coached by world-renowned teaching professional Steve Bann, a co-developer of the LeaderBoard Golf Training System.
Thanks in part to his use of the LeaderBoard device in his practice routine, Flanagan finished first in birdies made for the week, tied for first in eagles made, fifteenth in driving distance (averaging over 298 yards per drive) and tied for sixteenth in greens in regulation (hitting over 68% of greens).
"The LeaderBoard for me has just made my game a lot more consistent, said Flanagan. It has made my swing more consistent and in this game, you definitely look for something that will give you an advantage over the rest of the field.
